This cute little vintage dressing table swing mirror has been professionally refinished using Fusion Milk Paint to create a beautifully aged, distressed look, with a finish that feels smooth and satin to the touch. No chalky or flaky paint here.

For this piece, I layered Fusion Milk Paint in a mix of earthy tones, including various shades of green, Toasted Coconut, and Almond Latte. To create the distressed effect, I used beeswax as a resist, then carefully wet sanded and finished with Fusion Hemp Oil for that buttery smooth feel and soft sheen.
The details make it. Inside the drawers you will find a stag damask decoupage, and the drawers are finished with the original knobs, keeping that lovely vintage character intact.
A perfect little piece for a bedroom or dressing space, full of charm, history, and a fresh new lease of life.
A note on character
This unit has both age and history and has been previously loved, so there may be signs of a life well lived. As always, I've taken care to lovingly restore it to a beautiful reloved statement piece that would sit proudly in any home.
If you're after a perfect factory finish, upcycled or refinished furniture may not be the best choice for you. My pieces are chosen for their character and, like all of us, may have small quirks that add to their charm.
