A seriously stylish set of 3 nesting side tables, professionally upcycled and hand painted in Ash Black, with eye‑catching map decoupage tops and a cool tyre track effect.

These retro, mid‑century style stacking tables were refinished in Fusion Mineral Paint – Ash Black, then topped with maps across the surfaces for a travel‑inspired finish. To add an extra layer of interest, I created a faux tyre track design on each top, highlighted with delicate touches of bronze gilding paint. The bronze gives a gentle, aged shimmer that catches the light, adding depth without shouting for attention.

The result is a unique, statement set that fits brilliantly in interiors with a bold or maximalist vibe, and it’s perfect for anyone who loves travel, maps, or anything with a bit of road‑trip, automotive energy.
